Join us as we make 400 handmade Christmas cards which will be distributed to several Naples area nursing homes.
While we cannot go into the nursing homes to visit in person right now due to COVID, we have been asked to make this large amount of unique cards to bless the elderly, who are no doubt very lonely with few to no visitors.
Many of you have helped in the past -- we need your help again as this is a HUGE endeavor, but many hands make light work. Plus, it is FUN!
It is also a Gospel outreach, as we include the Sinner's Prayer in large font in every card!
When: Monday, November 30 from 4pm to 6pm or so -- you can stay as long or as short as you like.
Where: Covenant Church of Naples, room 222, upstairs. 6926 Trail Blvd, Naples. Go in the door at the back of the big church near the playground.
Snacks and card making supplies provided! We have glue guns but often can use a few more, so bring yours if you want to . Also if you have any extra Christmas stickers or Christmas themed appliques -- we always seem to need more of those. Otherwise, just bring yourself and your kids!
We love for children and adults of all ages to help out. This is a great way to teach children to give joy to others at Christmas- and a way to get the Good News out to those who may not be long on this earth.
